Introduction

CITA '07 is the fifth conference in this series of International Conference on Information Technology in Asia (CITA). The previous four conferences were held in September 1999, October 2001, July 2003 and December 2005. The theme for CITA '07 is "Social Computing". The keynote speaker will be Professor Ian H. Witten, a Professor of Computer Science at the University of Waikato in New Zealand. The workshop will be held on Monday, 9th of July 2007, prior to the conference, which will be held on the 10th to 12th of July 2007. There will be several parallel sessions for workshops held at the Universiti Malaysia Sarawak, Kota Samarahan, West Campus.

Call for Workshop Papers

We welcome the submission of any unpublished papers related to the knowledge areas (mentioned below). Paper submissions will be reviewed and evaluated based on originality, technical quality and relevant to software concepts and technologies. The format for full papers should be based on the CITA07 format. Submission of papers could be delivered electronically (http://www.cita07.org) or can mail to the following address:
